During my time at a door company, I had the opportunity to work on a fascinating project involving the creation of technical drawings for a specialized product. The project revolved around designing an exterior panel seal for a frameless sliding glass panel door. The seal needed to be both clear and UV-rated to prevent yellowing over time, while also providing flexibility and waterproofing.
To meet these requirements, we thoroughly researched various types of plastic materials that would meet our criteria without compromising on cost-effectiveness. After careful consideration, we decided that an H-channel extrusion would be the most suitable choice for the job. I then proceeded to create detailed technical drawings that accurately depicted the shape and dimensions of the extrusion, ensuring that our specifications were met with precision and clarity.
